Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information SlideBlaster ("we", "us") collects when you use the Service, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you sign up with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from Google. When you sign up with email and password instead, we store your email address and a securely hashed version of your password — we never store your password in plain text.

Content you create

We store the photos you upload, the projects you organize them into, and the slideshows you build, including overlay text and styling.

TikTok connection

If you connect a TikTok account, we store the TikTok account identifier and the OAuth access and refresh tokens TikTok issues for that connection. We use these solely to publish your slideshows to your TikTok account according to the schedule you set. We also store the status and TikTok-assigned ID of each scheduled post so we can track whether it succeeded.

Technical information

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

2. How We Use Information

  • to provide the Service — storing and rendering your slideshows and publishing them to TikTok when you schedule them;
  • to authenticate you and keep your account secure;
  • to send transactional emails, such as email verification for new accounts;
  • to respond to support requests you send us.

We do not use your content or account information to serve you ads.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

  • TikTok:when you schedule or publish a post, the relevant slideshow content is sent to TikTok's Content Posting API so it can be published to your connected account.
  • Google:used only to authenticate you when you choose "Sign in with Google".
  • Infrastructure providers: our hosting, database, and email-delivery providers process data on our behalf, solely to operate the Service.
  • Legal reasons: if required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account data, content, and TikTok connection details are stored in our database; uploaded photos are stored on our servers. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including hashing passwords, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account information and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete a photo, slideshow, or project, or disconnect your TikTok account, we remove the associated data (and, for TikTok, stop using the access we were given). If you delete your account, we delete your account information and content, except where we need to retain limited records for legal or security reasons.

6. Your Choices & Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. With SlideBlaster you can, at any time:

  • disconnect your TikTok account from your dashboard;
  • delete individual photos, slideshows, or projects;
  • delete your account entirely.

For anything you can't do yourself in the dashboard, contact us at support@slideblaster.app and we will assist you.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
